This straight razor features a classic shavette mechanism with interchangeable blades. As it sports the traditional swivel design of a straight razor, the Dovo Shavette has been a favorite among barbers. It provides the same close and precise shave as the traditional straight razor, but with the convenience of having fresh new blades for every customer. Application

To apply the blade, remove and pull the blade holder away from the spine. Then, wrap your DE blade in a paper and break it in half following its horizontal centers. Insert one half into the blade holder and slide the blade holder back into the spine.

Maintenance

The shavette’s low maintenance is its defining feature above other razors. Caring for the razor is as easy as washing off the blade holder and handle before drying it. Feel free to apply a drop of oil to the swivel joint sporadically to get a smooth opening on its first use.
