Smells like Juicy Fruit bubblegum

As the title says this soap smells almost exactly like Juicy Fruit! The Omnibus base is unmatched on the market currently and I can’t say enough good things about the cushion it provides! Only way for you to understand what I’m talking about is to buy it for yourself and find out!

Great shave

Bought myself a str8 razor and I’m a first time user. But already loving the feel and sleek look it leaves.

The smell is….hopefully going to get better once its wet.

At first whiff it was a little strong. But I have shook it up and used it after a really close shave with my newest razor; a freshly honed on a 12k Shapton, followed by 50 strokes on the Naked Armor strop by my Theirs Issard 5/8 Dutch point. BTW shout out to NA for the hook up on that jewel. So after finishing a miraculous shave I splashed on BARRISTER AND MANN’s Smoking Bishop. After the initial shock it really does mellow out to a scent reminiscent of gentlemen’s dens of old. The wife loves it and so does my daughter. I’m glad I scooped it up. Another fine product.

Omnibus base?

In short, this soap in my opinion doesn’t represent the name well. I don’t know about the omnibus base. The smell is wonderful when you open it up and while using. It whips up a quick lather. It dries out quickly and it doesn’t give that rich thick creamy lather. It’s lacking slickness as well. Not enough water and it doesn’t work, too much water and it doesn’t stay together and build that wonderful lather we all look for. I gave it 3 stars because I like the brand and the smell is great! It’s still lacking a lot!

Barrister and Mann Nocturne Shaving Soap (Omnibus Base) brings the cozy, inviting scent of a New England cider mill right to your shave.

Anyone who’s been there will tell you that, in New England, Autumn is the best time of year. The trees turn vivid colors, the weather becomes perfectly brisk, and the apple and corn crops are harvested and made into all kinds of wonderful foods to enjoy. The scent of woodsmoke fills the air, and fallen leaves litter the ground, crunching pleasantly underfoot wherever you go. It’s a wonderful time, and at the center of it all is the cider mill.

Cider mills are incredible places. The smell of apples suffuses the walls, and a wood fire usually burns in the corner. Trays and trays of apple cider donuts fill the tables and counters next to carafes of hot cider and coffee. The buildings smell wonderful, and Barrister and Mann wanted to capture that smell in soap form. After long experimentation, they blended the scents of apples, newly fallen leaves, woodsmoke, benzoin, and the faintest touch of cinnamon to create a slightly smokey, faintly spicy, wonderful scent perfect for the crisp, clear days of Autumn.

Directions

Wet your shaving brush well, then swirl it around the jar for roughly thirty seconds or until a rich, creamy lather is formed. Continue building the lather by adding water and swirling your brush either on your face or in a lathering bowl. Shave, rinse, and spend your day feeling great.

I gave this strop 5 stars do to the fact I saw one for 150$ that did the exact same thing. I purchased wet stones from range 1000 to 8000 grit for sharpening. I purchased the strop for the honing of my blade before each use. I've used it once in 3 shaves, my forgetfulness (as i'm a schizophrenic). The first time I used it though, it worked flawlessly, as I tested the edge with my finger, and noticed an slight improvement after honing. So i'mmmm great (like Tony the tiger- frosted flakes) thank you.

I recently recieved the Naked Armore "Percival" straight razor and was highly impressed . The gorgeous carved web and apider were both pleasing on the eye and effective at creating just the right ammount of grip so as to manage an easy shaving experiece . Perfect for novice and experienced shavers it is one of my favorite blades . The blade itself was awonderfully scalloped and razor sharp edge piece of high quality japanese steel and gave me one of the smoothest shaves out of the box that iv ever had , and when i say smooth believe me it was smooth .

Smooth as silk

Hi guys , i just got my hands on the. NAKED armor "Bedevere" straight razor and i have to say its amazingly good. The handle a sleek yet textured ebony wood feels beautiful as yoir hand molds around it , the blade is up to the normal exsquisite degree of craftsmenship i have come to accept as the standard for Naked Armors blades , crafted in japanese steel it is sturdy and incredibly sharpand has a delightful concave grind that allows it to cut those hairs yet glide over the surface of the skin with minimal drag . Im giving him a solid 10/10 for quality , construction and its ability to shave cleqnly by amateur and expert alike.
