This razors strong appearance is what sold me. The graphic design on the scales forming the handle is beautiful. A permanent blade that can be sharpened was a must. I am accustomed to a slimmer blade and the heft of this one will be an adjustment. It completely lacks an edge sharp enough to provide a shave.
Hi guys , i have the absolute pleasure of talking about my Naked Armor ultimate wet shave kit ! This package arrived nicely packaged in a good sized box and upon opening i was in pure joy. So lets start with the travel pouch , it has a nice leather look and strong fabric construction with plenty of storage for your shaving essentials . It has a very classical look that takes me back to days past where quality looked the part. The scuttle is a nice black chunky ceramic affair with groves and ridges to hold that soap in place and allow you to whisk up a sensational lather and in a stylish manly black ceramic finish looks awesome. The stand is hefty ! No flimsy piece of cheap junk like the cheap ones iv seen in the past from online retailers !! The shaving kit itself is presented in a classy wooden chest and upon opening you will find a really great tin of shaving soap that smells fantastic along with a lovely quality leather strop and a tin of stropping paste along with the essential ingredient the Solomon straight razor. This blade has a great feel to it crafted in a beautiful wood handle with brass edges and accenting. Opening it up presented me with a sublime and highly polished razor with a concave ground edge that as i expected was indeed "razor sharp". I set about my first shave fast and found it performed smoothly gliding elegantly across my stubble with ease lraving my skin smooth without bumps after a few gentle strokes. Finally satisfied with my trim and neck shave i proceeded to apply to post shave balm something i was skeptical of !! I was suprised in a huge way to find my skepticism was completely unfounded and it added a long lasting sleek soft smooth finish that the lady in my life definately enjoyed to feel of. In my honest opinion the entire kit is perfect for treating yourself to so your grooming goes up to a top notch level but is also equally something i feel any man of worth would be more than happy to recieve as a gift!!! Once again Naked Armor you never fail to give me something that is a pleasure to use and own 100% !! Nearly a month ago I gifted myself the King Arthur shave kit. The razor is a work of art, a thing of beauty, and a pleasure to shave with. The balance is superb making it easy to get the edge in the proper position to shave. I'm fairly new to using a straight razor and shopped extensively prior to deciding on this one. The wonderful folks at Naked Armor honed my razor for no fee as it was "dragging a bit" out of the box. Now, this razor and the other product in the kit make my daily shave a pleasurable experience. Any ladies looking to get the man in their life a lasting gift, then by all means choose one from Naked Armor.
